Do you take insurance?

We do not accept insurance. Too many times I have seen patients who were told they had coverage for a procedure that ended up not being covered and they were left with a big, unexpected bill. Insurance companies are able to dictate how many appointments you are allowed to have and what type of treatment you are allowed to receive, not the doctor. I prefer to treat my patients with the care they need, not what insurance allows them to have. You are still able to submit your claims to your insurance company with Blooming Family Chiropractic being an out of network provider. With the reduced overhead of not having to pay for a billing department I am able charge a consistent, fair fee that is very close to most patients’ co-pay. The price wont go up or down depending on what type of insurance you carry or how many visits you use. This usually ends up saving you money in the long run. We do accept FSA as well as HSA and can provide receipts for documentation .

Why did you choose to work out of your home?

I choose to work out of my home because it is what works best for me and my family. It allows me to spend as much time with my family as well as my patients. I call that a win win! Working from home allows me to spend breaks in between patients hanging out with my son instead of having to travel to another location. I want my patients to feel like family and get the care and attention that they deserve. So instead of dividing my time between two places I decided to merge the two! Working from home also allows me to keep my overhead low and keep my prices at an affordable rate for my patients!

Is chiropractic care safe?

Adjustments, when performed by a professional, are safe and effective. My adjustments are tailored specifically to each patient. I have learned many different adjusting techniques from incredibly gentle to more manual hands on. Depending what each patient’s needs are, I will determine what type of technique will best help them and what they are most comfortable with. There is more risk associated with taking over the counter medication than there is when seeing a chiropractor.
